Abu Dhabi is almost near the completion of its Ferrari themed park. To have an idea, it can be said that it will be like Disney world or roller coaster heaven for the speed freaks. Largest indoor park boast of everything that a park can have and that to with word biggest. You will find here 2.15 million square red roofs, of course, inspired from the charming Ferrari with largest Prancing Horse emblem. If you still want more adventure then you can get a rollercoaster ride at the speed of about 200 km/h and that is fastest in the world.
The ride will start from the inside of the park and will ride through the desert before your breath-taking journey ends. You can choose one ride among the two available – F1 G-force and GT Racing coaster. It sounds like real fun and hard to wait, but we have to. Here are few images of the park.
Bugatti revealed today its brand new Veyron 16.4 Super Sport, its latest addition to the Veyron lineup. As expected, the new car delivers an impressive 1200 hp (882 kW) and a maximum torque of 1,500 Nm of torque and a limited speed of 415 km/h (in order to protect the tyres).
Comparing it with the current Veyron version, the new car offers further improvements such as the twin clutch gearbox with seven speeds, four enlarged turbochargers and bigger intercoolers to boost the power of the engine and a to maintain safety at extreme speeds. Also, the body of the car received small improvements in order to improve the aerodynamics while the new fibre structure of the all-carbon monocoque ensures maximum torsion rigidity and passive safety as well as reduced weight.
The new Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Super Sport will make its debut in August at the Pebble Beach Concours and will be produced in a limited edition of just 30 units. The first 5 units will be known as the World Record Edition. Offered in a special black exposed carbon and orange finish, these cars have already been sold. Bugatti Automobiles S.A.S. has sold 260 Veyrons and 35 Grand Sports by now, of which 249 Veyrons and 22 Grand Sports had been delivered.
You are wondering why this World Record Edition, right? It appears that the new model from Bugatti achieved a new landspeed world record for production cars with an average speed of 431 km/h. The GPS-tachometer stops at 427, 933 km/h. Now the same procedure from the opposite direction. This time the car reaches 434, 211 km/h. As average top speed the representatives of the “TÜV”and Guinness generate a value of 431, 072 km/h (268 mph). This even hit Bugatti’s engineering team by surprise. “We took it that we would reach an average value of 425 km/h,” explains Bugatti’s chief engineer Dr. Wolfgang Schreiber, “but the conditions today were perfect and allowed even more.”
